Dry White Wine Aretousa
Dry White Wine "Aretousa" is a combination of Roditis and Savvatiano, white grape varieties that is widely grown in Greece, particularly in the Peloponnese region. It is one of the most planted grape varieties in Greece and is known for producing crisp, refreshing, and aromatic wines. In terms of aroma and flavor, Dry White Wine "Aretousa is typically characterized by its citrusy and floral notes, with flavors of lemon, lime, and grapefruit. The acidity is typically high, which makes them perfect for pairing with sea food, pasta e.t.c.
Roditis, the main white variety of the Greek vineyard, gives its best in the lands of Peloponnese. Roditis gives aromatic white wines, with fruity aromas, round, balanced and refreshing. Alcohol content is moderate to high.
In vineyards with relative altitude and low yields it gives remarkable wines with balanced alcohol and acidity, rich taste, good aroma. It gives a different character to the very high productions. Fresh, musky, with lively summer aromas and beautiful acidity that quenches thirst.
